I went to one of their tasting events and I was impressed with both the food and the facility (Indy West Conference Center). All the entrees were good (lemon chicken, chicken marsala, roast pork loin, fried chicken, prime rib). The prime rib was excellent, but my favorite was the lemon chicken. The veggies were high quality and well seasoned too.

Everything really was high quality. These people know what they’re doing.

Cleanliness: Better than average. Very clean dining area, and very clean men’s room.

Ambience: Better than average.  A little showy, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was a Barbie(tm) doll house.  I did like the pheasant painting on the table-top.   They have both booths and tables.  They also have a couple of private dining areas in the back for large groups.  There is no extra charge for the private dining area. It’s included in the meal price.  So you could have your club dinner-meeting here.

Food Quality/Presentation:  Better than average for a buffet. I’d rate it 4 out of 5.  Very wide selection of salad bar area, veggies, meats, grilled items, Mongolian (concoct-your-own-and-cooked-right-there-for-you), and steam table items, and large dessert area with lots of fruit and sweets.  I really like the salad bar stuff, as it included seafood salad, a couple other creamy dishes, and lots of different veggies.

I could have completely filled up on just the salad bar and fruity desserts alone.

I didn’t get any Mongolian-grill items, but I did try some of the pre-cooked grill items that are served at the end of the Mongolian grill station.  The teryaki chicken was hard and dry, but the beef shish-kebab was very good.

The sushi wasn’t very good. But you can’t expect all-you-can-eat high-quality sushi  at these cheap buffet prices.  If you want good sushi, go to a good sushi/Japanese restaurant.

Service: Used plates were taken away promptly, and drinks refilled.

Perceived Value: I’d rate the value 5 out of 5.  $5.39 (plus 1.19 drink) for lunch, and $7.99 (plus drink) for supper, plus tax.  Crab legs available for dinner, but not lunch.

Those are the Monday through Thursday prices. Weekend prices are a bit higher, but I forgot to take note.

Bottom line: $7.11 (including drink and tax) (not including tip) for lunch is an EXCELLENT deal!  (Mon-thurs price.)

Very friendly staff, and the waitresses were among the sweetest people around.
